The final trim for the book is going to be the same as Matt Dembicki’s TRICKSTER anthology, 10”x10”, which gives artist a live area of 9”x9”. In an effort to tighten up my artwork, I decided (maybe foolishly) to draw my pages at 13”x13” which creates a larger reduction scale than I normally work at. I also went with series 400 Strathmore, rather than my usual 300 series, mostly to give this project that little bit of extra prestige.

All of this fits into my manic fear of being “the worst story in an anthology”. I don’t need to be the best, but I sure as hell don’t want to be the worst.
